Green Bay, WI (November 17, 2009)- ENCAP, LLC, a leading manufacturer and distributor of products in the retail and professional lawn and garden market holds friendly office competition that pays big for Paul’s Food Pantry. ENCAP’s twenty employees donated 1,138 pounds of food they donated over the six weeks of the competition.

Mike Krysiak, CEO of ENCAP states, “This is a true testament to the giving, generous character of the employees of ENCAP.  We genuinely care for the well being of our families, our community and our environment”. He continued to say “We are thankful for the community that supports our business and are happy to give something back”.

Green Bay based Paul’s Pantry, was one of the first food pantries to seek available surplus food from the marketplace, and helped to enact change in WisconsinState statues regarding liability and exemption for food donors.  Since 1984 Paul’s Pantry had distributed over 71.4 million pounds of food to the needy of BrownCounty.

The ENCAP competition started October 5, and wrapped up this past Friday, with the donations being dropped off at Paul’s Pantry.   The food was weighed after being dropped off on Friday, with the total weight of donated food totaling 1,138 pounds.

Thank you and Happy Gardening! ~ Sarah
